1) What is BitOasis?

BitOasis is the leading digital asset wallet and exchange service in the Middle East & North Africa. The BitOasis platform allows you to buy, sell and trade your digital assets easily and securely.

2) How do I sign up on the BitOasis platform?

  • Start by signing up on the BitOasis platform.
  • Start by entering your legal first name, legal last name, and your email address.
  • Create your password and click on the “Sign up” button. (Note: Password has to be unique and not a shared password that you have on another platform).
  • You’ll then be redirected to the “Account Setup” page, a confirmation email will be sent to the email address you have registered with.
  • Once the confirmation email is received, you can either use the confirmation code that was sent to your email or you can click on the “Click Here” link and you’ll be redirected to our website to log in.
  • After verifying your email address, you’ll be required to enter your personal phone number that you’d like to have registered with BitOasis.
  • You’ll receive a text message with a confirmation code on the number you have entered. You need to enter the code and tick “I agree to BitOasis Terms of use and Privacy policy” and click on “Confirm Phone number”.
  • You can also use the “Call Me Code” feature. If you are facing any issues receiving the OTP confirmation code on your phone number.
  • After confirming your phone number, you’ll be redirected to the BitOasis dashboard wallet.

3) I’m unable to log into my BitOasis account because I am not receiving the login verification email.

If you haven't received the verification email, please make sure to check your spam/junk folders, or you can add to your contact list. (If you are facing this issue and you are registered with a Hotmail email address, please get in touch with our support team to change your registered email address).

4) I am not receiving the OTP confirmation code to login to my BitOasis account.

In order to securely log in to your account, you will be required to enter the 6 digits One-Time Password (OTP) sent to your registered mobile device. If you do not receive the OTP confirmation code, you can either request to “Resend SMS Code” or you can use the “Call Me Code” feature.

5) How can I deposit AED on BitOasis?

You can currently deposit AED via your personal debit/credit card as wire transfer deposits are temporarily suspended.

  • Visit the “Deposit Money” page in order to begin placing a deposit order.
  • You will then be taken to the confirmation page which shows the payment details. Click on “Proceed with payment” to continue.
  • Enter your personal card details and click on “Pay Now”
  • After finishing the payment process, the amount will be credited to your BitOasis account.
  • Deposits have a minimum amount of 300 AED
  • Card deposits are restricted by our acquiring bank's daily limits to 5 transactions per user per day, with a maximum deposit value of AED 6,670 per transaction. If the weekly deposit limit is reached on your account, you will be able to deposit into your account once it is reset.

6) Can I fund my BitOasis account through my corporate bank account?

Unfortunately, the only way to fund your BitOasis account is through your personal bank account registered with us.

8) Can I store all my digital assets in the BitOasis wallet?

You can only store and withdraw BTC on the BitOasis wallet. All other digital assets can be stored on the Trading Platform only.

9) I do not have access to the Trading Exchange. How can I trade digital assets?

The Trading Platform is only available to fully verified users. In order to gain access to all the functions of the Trading Platform, you will need to verify your account by providing us additional Know-Your-Customer (KYC) documentation.

10) What is the difference between BitOasis wallet versus the BitOasis trading exchange?

By joining BitOasis, you will gain access to our two services – the wallet service and the trading service.

When you sign up to BitOasis, you will instantly gain access to your BitOasis wallet, which allows you to buy and sell Bitcoin securely.

When you verify your account, you will gain access to the Trading Platform, which allows you to spot trade, set buy and sell market orders, and set buy and sell limit orders for your digital assets.

11) Which digital assets can I trade on BitOasis trading exchange?

You can buy, sell and trade Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Bitcoin Cash ABC (BCH), Ripple (XRP), Litecoin (LTC), Ethereum Classic (ETC), and Stellar (XLM). Our digital assets list is constantly updated, so be sure to check out our blog for the latest updates.

12) How do I buy/sell (BTC, ETH, XRP, LTC, BCH, ETC, and XLM) on the trading exchange?

  • Start by accessing the “Trading Exchange” on your wallet Dashboard.
  • Choose the currency you’d like to buy/sell from the “BTC-AED” drop-down menu.
  • Fill in the amount you’d like to buy/sell. You’ll have two types of trading orders; you can either place a buy/sell “Market” order or a buy/sell “Limit” order.
    • “Market” orders allow you to buy/sell at the market price that is available at the time of the purchase. However, “Limit” orders give you the flexibility to enter at which price you want your orders to be executed if the market reaches the price entered.
  • To submit your buy/sell orders, click on the “Place Order” button.

13) How do I withdraw (BTC, ETH, XRP, LTC, BCH, ETC, and XLM) to an external wallet from the trading exchange?

  • Start by clicking on the “Trading Exchange” tab on your wallet Dashboard.
  • Click on the “Withdrawal” tab, on the trading exchange’s main page and you will be directed to the “Digital Asset Withdrawal” page.
  • From the drop-down menu, you can choose which digital asset you would like to withdraw.
  • You can start by filling out the digital asset amount (ETH, BTC, LTC, XRP, BCH, ETC, or XLM ) you choose to withdraw, along with your external wallet address. (Withdrawal fees will be available to you under the wallet address box and will be deducted from the amount withdrawn).
  • For XRP withdrawals to an external wallet, you will need to provide the address (adding the TAG will be optional). However, make sure to tick the box “No Ripple Wallet Tag”.
  • Digital asset withdrawals take up to 6 hours to be processed.
  • You can find your list of digital asset withdrawals on the “Digital Asset Withdrawal History” page on the “Withdrawal” tab.

14) Which trading pairs are available on BitOasis trading exchange?

You can trade ETH–BTC, XRP–BTC, LTC-BTC, BCH–BTC, ETC–BTC on the BitOasis trading exchange.

15) How many confirmations are required to process each digital asset trade?

The minimum number of confirmations required for each digital asset trade are:

  • BTC: 7 confirmations
  • ETH: 100 confirmations
  • XRP: 1 confirmation
  • LTC: 6 confirmations
  • BCH: 12 confirmations
  • ETC: 100 confirmations
  • XLM: 1 confirmation

16) What currencies can I use to buy, sell and trade digital assets?

You can buy, sell and trade all digital assets using UAE Dirham (AED) only.

17) Are there any fees applicable on the Trading Platform?

18) Can I withdraw my AED balance to any bank account?

  • You can only withdraw your AED balance to your personal bank account registered with BitOasis.
  • The withdrawal feature is available for our users in the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Bahrain only.
  • If you are based in Oman, you can only withdraw your AED balance if you provide us with your IBAN number.

19) I have initiated a money withdrawal order and I have not received the amount in my bank account yet. Why?

Local money withdrawals take up to 7 working days (Sunday-Thursday) to be processed.

International money withdrawals take up to 10 working days to be processed

20) My account is fully verified but I would like to apply for a higher limit. How can I do that?

You can apply for a higher limit by clicking on the „Increase Limits“ page on the „Buy Bitcoin“ tab. Fill in the required information and click ‘Done’. (Note: Your weekly limits will be increased based on the documents and information provided.)

Your application for a limit increase will be reviewed within four (4) working days.

21) How can I verify that my digital assets are really being traded?

All transactions are posted on the blockchain, which allows you to confirm your digital asset balance at any time. You can view your public addresses in your settings. You can alternatively verify your digital asset balance using a third party service such as

22) How secure is my BitOasis account?

For enhanced security of your digital assets, we recommend all our users to implement two-factor login authentication. We also prompt our customers to enter a multi-digit authentication code with every login attempt (unless deactivated by the customer), and send each customer a Confirm your login email when signing into their account from a different IP address.

23) How secure are my digital assets on BitOasis?

Our wallet uses multi-signature technology to secure your bitcoins. With our multi-signature wallet, you will need 2 of your 3 private keys to move or spend any bitcoins. This provides an extra level of security to make sure your funds will not be compromised if one of your private keys is.

Your wallet private keys are three. You and BitOasis have access to one of those keys. As BitOasis, we do not have access or control over the 2 remaining keys and by that, we do not have control over any of our customers' bitcoins. The second key is held by BitGo, a third-party security company. The third key, or the Recovery key, is a backup for emergencies and is secured under the supervision of an independent law firm that our customers can reach out to in case of any service compromise.

24) Why does BitOasis give me a new receiving address for every transaction?

In order to protect your privacy and to offer you an enhanced level of security, BitOasis will always provide you with a new receiving address for each transaction. This level of security prevents anyone from tracking the payments you receive on the blockchain. Each new address provided will automatically link back to your BitOasis account, thereby ensuring your funds are always received in the correct wallet.

25) Does BitOasis have a mobile App?
